#livehappy on Twitter

Sometimes I feel like no one is reading this blog.  It's why I don't post as often any longer. I set a goal last year to post every weekend, and nearly hit my 52 week goal, but it's a challenge writing something interesting, especially when it feels like no one is reading. So this year I am making a change. I am going to post more tweets than I did last year. So far, this month, I have tweeted 77 times.

Why?

I've been enjoying Twitter a lot these days.

It makes me focus my thoughts into one succinct post.

I post nothing negative, and I'm discovering that my thoughts are streaming positivity.

Below is a random sample of what I've been tweeting...

February 3: "Inspirational idea for the day: Think of 5 things you love to do, but have not done them this season yet. Pick one of them and do it."

February 6: "Never underestimate the power of a good cookie.  Seriously.  Want to smile? Buy a box of tagalongs from a Girl Scout neighbor. #livehappy"

February 9: "You can still #livehappy - even when you stand against injustice and hate.  Do it with dignity and poise."

For those of you who are not familiar with Twitter, maybe it's time to give it a try. I'm finding that it's easy and fun, plus it keeps you in the news loop without taking up too much of your time. The biggest bonus I've found is that the information is sorted by who you follow and by hashtag. My favorite hashtag looks like this #livehappy. When put into the search field of Twitter using livehappy, anyone who uses tweets with that hashtag will line up in order. See you there!
