DWTS Switch Up Night

Today is the last day to file your taxes, and I just got back from a celebration with our staff. Tonight's update is not as much as I would like to share, but here is what I learned from what little time I had to research tonight's show.

The Hens

The original four of Katherine's flock. From left to right, they are: Flora, Fauna (Blue Cochin hens), Calypso, and Celeste (Wellsummer hens).

"In terms of production, we've had great success with the Wellsummer hens. They produce an egg a day during spring, summer, and fall. In the kitchen we enjoy frying up the Cochin eggs for breakfast, although these hens go broody a lot and don't lay as many eggs. Fauna was the best layer of our Cochins, and my favorite hen. It was a great loss when she was taken down by a coyote."
